What is it?

The Driver Register is a register of all drivers in the PoolCar system.

How are driver records created?

A driver record is created through one of the following two ways:

1. By a user who logs into PoolCar for the first time and completes the Welcome Page and all required fields (including drivers licence details or alternative NO LICENCE ‘NO LICENCE’ process)

2. By a Sysadmin creating a new driver record in the driver register (this is generally done for contractors and volunteer staff who will have vehicles booked on their behalf by a PoolCar user once created).

   1. Navigate to the Sysadmin Menu > Registers > Driver Register > Add New > Complete fields > Save

What are the required fields in the Driver Register?

The required fields in the Driver Register depend on the Application Settings and include some of the fields below:

• First name

• Last name

• Email address

• Licence information (if applicable)

• Access Group membership (if applicable)

• Other information (settings dependant)
