What is it?

The Insurance Register is where you can add Insurance Policies in the PoolCar system.

How is an insurance policy created?

A record is created by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Insurance Register in PoolCar Sysadmin Main Menu > Registers

2. Click Add New Insurance Policy on the upper right of the page

3. Complete the details in the form

   Open

   

   Note: The system is designed to support single vehicle policies. When an attempt is made to add a claim, the system assigns it to the vehicle. In this case, since there are more than one vehicle, it takes the last record.

   If it is a multi vehicle policy, updating the policy number like - <Policy#>-Rego would make it unique and would resolve the issue.

4. If you need to add a new Insurer Name, click the blue right arrow

How to make a claim

1. Navigate to the Insurance Register

2. Click the Claims link on the right hand side of the asset

   Open

   

    

3. Click Add New Claim

   Open

   

4. Complete the form

   Open

   

5. Now Insurance Claims become reportable via the Insurance Register
