Actions when a New Vehicle has been Installed

When a new vehicle is installed, there are some actions on the Client Admin user to ensure the resource is set up correctly.

  1. Check the name and vehicle details (note that the rego/licence plate field is not editable by a customer and must be changed by a Smartrak administrator).

  2. Check the vehicle is assigned to the groups/users who need to view and report on it via the Smartrak app site.

  3. Ensure the alerts are configured in Smartrak admin

The Client Administrator receives the Smartrak Install email, which comes from either website@smartrak.co.nz or website@smartrak.com.au), and includes the following information:
