*NEW* Asset Clustering on Smartrak Map

In early April 2026, we deployed a new release into Smartrak Map with a new asset clustering feature. This makes the map significantly faster, there is now no lag when this feature is enabled.

To enable this new opt-in feature, just follow these instructions:

  • Log into the Smartrak App site (NZ or AU)

  • Enter your username and click Next (note usernames are case sensitive)

  • Then enter your password (note passwords are case sensitive)

  • Click on the green Sign in button

Hover over Menu in the top left corner of the map then click options:

Enable Cluster resources then Save changes.

Your map will look like this showing assets in clusters rather than individually, click on any cluster to zoom the map to the individual assets in the cluster. Alternatively zoom to the desired area and the individual assets will be reveled at the appropriate zoom level.
