Saving a Screen Print to My Request

  • Go to the page that displays the problem at hand.

  • Press 'Print Screen' key on your keyboard

    1. generally displayed as PrtScn/Print Screen/Snipping Tool (or similar)

      1. normally on the top row towards the right

      2. sometimes at the bottom to the right of the

  • Open your word processing program (Microsoft Word)

  • and paste the contents of your clipboard into

  1. right click on mouse - select paste or
  2. press Paste at the top left of the screen

  1. take note of the file name and location
    1. saving to your desktop is often the easiest

Add the file to your support portal request:

  • a Word File and save.

  • Log into the Service Desk and locate the CSD ticket you want to add the file to.

  • Click on the paperclip at the side of the comment bar - a window will appear with your folders and files
