History Search
Why: | Quickly search a particular map area for vehicle activity. |
What: | Search for vehicles that have stopped or driven through a particular road or area. |
How: |
If there are no results the first time, try enlarging the search radius. The search is looking for events that have been recorded on your map. If the search is on the open road, you may have to search a larger area.
Once you have search results back, you can see which vehicles were in the area at what times. Click on view day to see events.
RED signifies the vehicle has stopped in the area GREEN signifies they have passed through. Also see How to History Search |
Runs
Why: | To quickly view where certain vehicles have been on a certain day. View vehicle path information to determine which vehicles were in a particular area at a certain time. Have vehicles been out of an their assigned area or have our delivery vehicles crossed paths. |
What: | Plots on the map screen the paths of a number of vehicles on a certain day. |
How: | On your map screen, hover over the Menu icon. A drop down selection will appear, select Runs from the list. This will display a list of your vehicles on the right hand side. Click on the vehicles you wish to view (you can view up to five vehicles at a time). Each vehicle will show in a different colour. From the screen top, select the date you wish to view, today’s date is the default. You can then zoom in on the map to view areas of interest.
Once you have identified a vehicle. Go back to the map, view by either searching for the vehicle name or by selecting the vehicle on the right hand list. Also see How do I use the Runs feature? |
Map Tags
Why:
A Map Tag is a useful reporting tool. Allows you to quickly report on when a vehicles have stopped and for how long.
An example how much time has been spent at a particular client’s property.
What:
A map tag is a point of interest placed on a map.
How:
- To create a map tag, locate the point of interest on your map, right click and select Map tag here.
- A box will pop up to enter in the map tag title, details, icon and zone information.
- You can click or unclick Shared, which will share with other map users in the company or not, then click on Save.
- Once the map tag has been placed, you now can run the Map Tag Zone Report, available in the Reports section.
- Select the date, map tag & which vehicles you wish to report on, click on View report and results will be displayed
