**Note – please let us know when/if you have a new hubodometer installed. |
**** PLEASE NOTE - in the Update resource meters page if you need to update the odometer, you also need to put a number into the Hour clock field before you can successfully click on Update resource. You can insert any number, even 1 minute. And you need to add a number in even if the vehicle doesn't have an hour clock.
PLEASE NOTE ** Sometimes you will see an onroad event associated with an odometer update with extra info "Forced onroad due to large odometer increase"
- Usually happens when admin updates vehicle’s odometer in Smartrak.
- So if the vehicle went offroad, then the admin updated their odometer, then the vehicle went back onroad, you'd get the distance travelled offroad + any further distance adjusted by the update.
- We catch this when it happens and force the vehicle onroad at the point of the odometer update.
- If the vehicle is still offroad, it'll start them being offroad again as the travel event and they won't lose any km but it also won’t include the extra kms from the odometer update.
