The table below details the Admin Menu options and what they are used for.  As you work through Self Help it will provide more details on how each section is used.

For more information about what these terms mean and their relationships please refer to Useful Terms & Relationships


  • Groups - create / assign / manage groups 


  • Permissions - assign permissions by Resource or User


  • Resource Info - change resource name, add driver details and resource meter readings


  • Users - create & manage Users



  • Company's Resources - list of all resources and the date they were installed


  • Company's Users - list of all user details and when the user was created 


  • Odometer at Time - give the odometer reading at a particular time


  • Reports by User - list of scheduled reports users are subscribed to receive


  • Vehicle Details Report - downloadable list of vehicle details and attributes 

  • Individual User Login - list of lings by User and date.  Details include IP address, ISP and version


  • Map Login - list of all Users who have logged into the map, ordered by their last login time


  • Unit Log - list of milestone events in a Units history including activated, odo update, rego change.  Viewed by Resource name or Rego


  • Unit Logins on Day - list of all users that have logged in on a day and at what time

  • Attributes - allows you to add, edit and remove resource attributes name and values


  • Fuel Stop Editor - for companies who have fuel importation - this section allows you to view and edit a resource's fuel stops e.g. remove an odd entry


  • SUDO - allows an Admin User to log into the Smartrak Map site as any user within their company

  • Garmin POI Creator - upload locations to your Garmin device


  • Stops - supplied the spreadsheet template for uploading stops to a Garmin unit that is attached to a Smartrak GPS unit


  • Vehicle Routing - not currently active

  • Assign - assign alerts to recipients you have created


  • Emergency History - view all emergency alerts for the selected remote in the last 30 days


  • Recipients - create and manage alert recipients - email and/or mobile number required


  • View Alert Assignment - view which recipients will receive alerts from what remote
