View the Keyless Device's Event Logs

The Event Logs found via the Keyless Admin site can be a treasure trove when troubleshooting access to the device, or resolving any issues that have arisen

How to find the Event Log via Keyless Admin

  1. On the Dashboard page, locate the vehicle on the left hand panel

    1. Filter via the Locations drop down box

    2. Filter via the Search bar - enter in part of the Licence Plate number and only those that match will appear

  2. Right click on the vehicle and click the Event Log option

  3. Filter the Event Log by keywords

  4. Choose to show/hide Keep Alive events (which are sent every 15 minutes)

  1. Concerned about units going offline?

    1. Uncheck Omit KeepAlive entries and check the history - if there is a consistent event every 15 minutes then the unit was online during this time.

    2. Alternatively, filter by rolln/online to see all times the unit has come back online from been offline

  2. Use the booking number to confirm where an driver’s booking has been added, updated or deleted

    1. Alternatively, you can filter by their WUID (card number) or an master card number to find similar information

  3. auth/pass is when an driver card number was accepted (Master Card, or valid booking)

  4. auth/fail is when an driver card number was not accepted (invalid booking)

  5. rolln/mode will show any changes to the access mode of the Keyless Entry device

    1. PoolCar Bookings

      1. IDLE - there is no current/upcoming booking

      2. RESERVED- there is an upcoming booking and it is waiting for a driver to check out the vehicle

      3. IN PROGRESS- Booking in progress, waiting for it to be checked in and closed out

    2. Tap n Go

      1. MAINTENANCE - Device is out of action (usually if the vehicle is out for maintenance)

      2. TAPNGO - The vehicle is ready for Tap n Go

      3. IN PROGRESS- Vehicle is out with a driver, waiting for it to be tapped and closed out
