You will need to log into the service desk to check the notification settings for this.

Select the ticket that you are not being notified about - top right of the screen, select Created by me
Check this says "Don't notify me" as opposed to "Get Notifications" as this will determine whether Jira sends you notifications on the ticket or not.
If this has been set up correctly and you are sill not receiving notifications, check your spam filter, your junk mail folder and your firewall, all can have an impact on your abililty to receive Jira notifications.
