What

Why

Allow drivers to add additional plant to a booking.

Trailers, Bikes, Garmins, Motorcycles etc.

How

  • The plant firstly needs to be loaded into the system as a virtual unit. If this has not yet been done, please raise a request in our Service Desk to have this added.

  • Once added, you will then need to add the virtual unit into Pool Booking. For instructions on how to do this please see our How do I add a new untracked (virtual) vehicle into Pool Booking? page from our Self Help Guide.

  • If you have the plant type set up in the system skip to the next step. To add a new plant navigate to Pool Booking > Admin > Manage Plant Type > Add a new plant from here:

  • Once you have added the new plant, you need to find the resource you wish to associate with the plant to enable drivers to book both at the same time.

  • You will now be able to book the associated plant at the time of your booking.
