Smartrak’s Emissions Report enables organisations to accurately measure the Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) emitted by fleet vehicles, producing an automated report that leverages international standards for emissions reporting.
This solution is a valuable aid to government organisations as they respond to government expectations around emissions reporting. Organisations in the private sector will also welcome a reporting regime that meets international best practice and positions them to meet an increasing demand from consumers for sustainable business practices.
The Emissions Report integrates with the New Zealand Transport Authority (NZTA) to ensure the correct emissions profile is used for each vehicle. This is combined with data produced by Smartrak’s telematics solution to automatically compile an emissions report for all tracked vehicles. The automatically compiled report can be easily downloaded for use by sustainability managers to contribute to their organisational emissions reporting.
This Emissions Report has been designed in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 and the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.
Getting Started | |
The emissions report is based on the resource's rego/licence plate which ensures an accurate emissions profile for every vehicle. | If incorrect data is added in against the resource’s Fuel or Engine Type, it will be corrected with the data pulled through from NZTA. We do not use the Make/Model/Year data, as it runs the risk of being inaccurate, so we store a special copy from NZTA that we use for this calculation. |
