Accessing the KeyMaster cabinet from your computer

First you will need the IP address of the cabinet. You can ask the IT department for the address, or at the cabinet, check in the Networking menu - note down the numbers on the top row of the table displayed, including the dots (eg. 192.168.0.3)

Now you have the IP address, just open up a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc) and in the address bar type, http://[IP address]:5000 (replace [IP address] with the address you got earlier and hit Enter. So, for the above example we type in: http//192.168.0.3:5000

A screen like below will open, asking for a password. The password is, 1234. Key this in and click on the OK button

Now you will see the default KeyMaster screen with Departing and Returning buttons, and the setup menu icon in the bottom right corner

Click on the Setup icon and enter your System Administrator PIN. Now you can check key status reports, configure Check-in or Check-out prompts, check for firmware updates, perform a software reboot, etc.

The only thing you won't be able to do remotely is add/remove keys, as these require a physical action
