Disabling HIR for maintenance work

If you are booking in a vehicle for maintenance request or are receiving too many erroneous alert events you will need to undertake the following steps to disable the alert function of Accident Detection

  • Navigate to the Alert tab at the Bottom of the menu bar and select High Impact and Rollover Status

  • The page is for showing the current state of a unit's High Impact and Rollover function, and for disabling that function if it begins to act in an incorrect fashion or you have booked the vehicle in with a Smartrak installer for maintenance
  • To use this feature, type in the registration of the vehicle you wish to disable High Impact and Rollover alerts on, and click the "Disable High Impact and Rollover Alerts" button

  • This will disable High Impact and Rollover alerts on this vehicle until it is next installed
