on-road due to large odometer increase

  • Usually happens when admin updates vehicle’s odometer in Smartrak.
  • So if the vehicle went offroad, then the admin updated their odometer, then the vehicle went back onroad, you'd get the distance travelled offroad + any further distance adjusted by the update.
  • We catch this when it happens and force the vehicle onroad at the point of the odometer update.
  • If the vehicle is still offroad, it'll start them being offroad again as the travel event and they won't lose any km but it also won’t include the extra kms from the odometer update.

Please see What does "Forced on-road due to large odometer increase" mean in Activity Report
