  • Admin Menu options and what they are used for.  As you work through Self Help it will provide more details on how each section is used.


Admin Menu and descriptions


  • View your recent orders with Smartrak
  • This will only show orders for brand new Smartrak AVL units which have been purchased under a new agreement. Any replacement hardware will not show on this page.


  • Booking Report - Report on a booking using the booking number. (Applies to Pool Booking users only).
  • Company's Resources - List of all resources and the date they were installed
  • Company's Users - List of all user details and when the user was created 
  • Drivers License - Download a report on users drivers licenses. This will only apply to Pool Booking users who have their system settings set to 'Validate NZ licence number format on 'My Details' page'.
  • High Impact and Rollover - Report on HIR Status. Only applicable if HIR has been enabled.
  • Meter Reading Updates Report - Allows to you track when your resource's meters were last updated.
  • Odometer at TimeShows the Odometer, Hubodometer and Hour Clock reading for each of the supplied vehicles at the selected time where they are available.
  • Reports by User - View which scheduled reports users are subscribed to.
  • Unallocated IButton Use - View a list of all unallocated ibutton's used.
  • Vehicle Details Report - downloadable list of vehicle details and attributes 

  • Individual User Login -  View the most recent logins on the map site. Details include IP address, ISP and version.
  • Map Login - List of all Users who have logged into the map, ordered by their last login time
  • Unit Log - View milestone events in a units history such as: activated, odo update, rego changed etc
  • Unit Logins on Day - View which users logged in on a day and what times

  • Attributes - Add, edit and remove resource attributes name and values. These attributes appear in the resource information box shown by selecting a resource on the map.
  • Fuel Stop Editor - For companies who have fuel importation, this section allows you to view and edit a resource's fuel stops e.g. remove an odd entry
  • SUDO - Allows an Admin User to log into the Smartrak Map site as any user within their company

  • Garmin POI Creator - Upload locations to your Garmin device.
  • Map Asset Export - Export a spreadsheet to show all geofences and map tags created in the Smartrak system under your company.

  • Assign - Assign alerts to recipients to remotes.
  • Emergency History - View all emergency alerts for the selected remote in the last 30 days.
  • High Impact and Rollover Status - View the current state of a unit's High Impact and Rollover feature, and for toggling alerting for this feature on and off. (Only applies if this feature is activated under your account).
  • Recipients - Create and manage alert recipients - email and/or mobile number required
  • View Alert Assignment - View which recipients will receive alerts from what remote
