Resource Information

  • Manage individual resources present in the Smartrak Fleet Management system.

  • Change resource name, add driver details (legacy functionality) and update resource meter (odometer, hubodometer, hour clock) readings.

  • Add correct vehicle make/model/year information to enable accurate emissions insights reporting.

 

Log Deinstallations

Log Deinstallations

  • Use this tab to mark a unit as deinstalled once it has been removed from a vehicle. This will update the units active state in Smartrak Admin. Please note that this will not notify Smartrak of a deinstallation, this needs to be logged in the service desk.

  • Navigate to Resource Info > Log Deinstallation > Select the resource that’s been deinstalled > Mark as deinstalled

  • If you wish for this resource to be unassigned from all users, tick the ‘Unassign unit from all map users?’ option.

  • Please note that you will need to raise a ticket in the Smartrak Service Desk to request the physical deinstallation.

  • Navigate to Manage > Resource Info > Resource Meters > Update the Odometer/Hubodometer/Hour clock reading and when it was taken > Update Meters:

  • Rename the resource

  • Add, update or delete driver information (note this is legacy driver ID functionality)

  • Add resource make/model/year.

  • Upload a photograph of the resource

  • Please note that customers are not able to update the rego/licence plate field. If you need to update the rego on a vehicle, please raise a ticket in the Smartrak Service Desk

 

For Emissions Reporting - Checking vehicle accuracy in Smartrak Admin

In Smartrak Admin > Resource Info > Resource Info tab, you must enter the exact make, model, sub model (if applicable) and year for each vehicle record

  • This will ensure the emissions data and EV Fleet data is accurate.​

  • There are a large number of vehicle makes and models available.​

  • If you cannot find your vehicle there are 2 options:​

    • Choose a similar model ​

    • Lodge a ticket in the Smartrak Service Desk for your vehicle to be added to the lookup table.
