Resource Information

• Use this tab to mark a unit as deinstalled once it has been removed from a vehicle. This will notify Smartrak and update the units active state.

• Navigate to Resource Info > Log Deinstallation > Select the resource that’s been deinstalled > Mark as deinstalled

• If you wish for this resource to be unassigned from all users, tick the ‘Unassign unit from all map users?’ option.

• Navigate to Manage > Resource Info > Resource Meters > Update the Odometer/Hubodometer/Hour clock reading and when it was taken > Update Meters:

Please note that this can be completed in the Fleet Servicing module on the Smartrak Map site too How to update Hubo/Odometer and Hour Clock readings

• Rename the resource

• Add, update or delete driver information (note this is legacy driver ID functionality)

• Add resource make/model/year.

• Upload a photograph of the resource

• Please note that customers are not able to update the rego/licence plate field. If you need to update the rego on a vehicle, please raise a ticket in the Smartrak Service Desk
