A Map Tag is a useful historical reporting tool. Allows you to report on when tracked resources have stopped for at least 2 minutes at a particular location, and for how long.

How to create a Map Tag

 

Log into the Smartrak Map site (NZ or AU)

Locate the point of interest that you want to report on.

To create a map tag, either select Add a Map Tag from the left-menu or from the right-click menu

 

  1. A box will pop up to enter in the map tag title, details, icon and zone information.

  2. You can click or unclick Shared, which will share with other map users in the company or not, then click on Save.

  3. Once the map tag has been placed, you now can run the Map Tag Zone Report, available in the Reports section.

  4. Select the date, map tag & which resources you wish to report on, click on View report and results will be displayed
