Overview of features available on the Map Home Screen for viewing vehicle information.

View vehicle and location information of your resources. Use Smartrak features to help your business operate more effectively and efficiently.

What

Investigate vehicle and location information held in the Smartrak software, both current and past.

How

Hover over a vehicle displayed on the right hand side and the info box will appear, if you move your cursor (mouse pointer) away the info box disappears.

To lock in that info box, again point at a vehicle on the right hand side and this time click on it. This will lock in that info box on the screen for you to view.

Click on CENTRE button and the screen will then zoom in on that vehicle’s current location, with a pink pulsing box around the resource name.

The last event information will show in the info box along with time, date, address and driver details if entered.

Vehicle history information can also be viewed from this info box for any required day.

Click on the History tab and the history from today will show on the map, with the Daily stats information and trips listed down the right hand side.  This includes;

  • Distance traveled

  • Idling time

  • Number of overspeeds

  • Times for First key on and Last key off

  • Motor on time

  • Trip and Event information

The date can be changed by using the arrows or by clicking on the date shown and selecting another date.

A trip is made up of key on, driving and key off. Hover over a trip in the right hand info bar, it will be highlighted on the map.

Trips and events can be switched between. Select Events and the individual events that make up all the trips will be populated.

 

You can also display a longer period pf history by editing the URL directly,

Manually adjusting the history period may take up quite a lot of memory depending on the period length, please be aware of this if you want to view an extended period.
