Elevating User to System Admin role & Removing Sysadmin role access - Single Sign On (SSO) Users

System Admin users can elevate other users to the System Admin role via the Roles page.

How to elevate access

Important Note to start - The username must be precisely what is coming through from the SSO and is case sensitive.

The best way to ensure this is correct is to copy and paste the username from the Driver Register (the user must have logged in at least once to have created their driver record).

Select Roles under the Security & Permissions tab

Enter the user name into the Username field, ensure System Administrator is selected under Role, and then click Add User to Role

Success!

How to remove access

Select Roles under the Security & Permissions tab

Select System Administrator from the dropdown “Show only users in the role:”

Locate the user you need to remove access from and click on Remove over on the right hand side of the page.

A confirmation will appear at the top of the screen confirming the user has be removed from the role
