How do I create a new service?

You can create a new service for a vehicle for any regular servicing requirements you may need. Tyre rotation, wheel alignment, hour clock service are just a handful of examples.

Creating a new service

Log into the Smartrak Map site (NZ or AU)

Navigate to the Fleet Servicing module

On the left hand side menu bar, under Services, click on Create a new service +

Complete the following fields:
- Service name
- Service type (select what the service's measurements are based)
  - Odometer
  - Date
  - Hour Clock
- Frequency (in Kms if Odometer selected, in Months if Date selected and in Hours if Hour clock selected)
- Default alert period (in Kms if Odometer selected, in Days if Date selected and in Hours if Hour clock selected

Then select Who should get alerts for this service:
- Options are: All units, No units or by Group

Then click Create Service

Assign to resources

Select the Resource, add in the due date, frequency and alert period

Click on Assign service to selected vehicles
