Trip Report

How to report on each key on/trip start and key off/ trip end period & location, distance travelled and idle time.

Note that a trip consists of a key on event, driving (travelled/direction change events), and a key off event. If the vehicle stops with the key on and then moves from stopped, this will still be part of the same trip (but will calculate idle during the stoppage period when the vehicle is stationary with the key on for more than 2 minutes).

Log into the Smartrak App site (NZ or AU)
Navigate to the Reports
Select Trip Report from the drop down menu

Select required date range. This can be run for 'Today', 'Yesterday', 'Last Week', 'Last Month', 'This Year', or you can select your own custom date range using the 'Custom' button and selecting from the pop-up calendar
Select Show Daily Totals
Select Show Odo Reading
Select the vehicle/s
You can view the report in the browser, or select 'Download Report' to export an excel spreadsheet with the data

The trips report will show the following fields:

Key On/Trip Start Time
Key Off/Trip Stop Time
Duration (hh:mm)
Trip Distance (km)
Idle Duration (hh:mm)
Average Speed (km/h)
Start Address
End Address
Actions - Can click link to view on trip on Smartrak App
