What is it?

What is it?

The audit trail is a record of all actions in PoolCar and is a great resource to find out what has occured.

Please note that it is only available to Sysadmins

Where do I find it?

Locate the Audit Trail on the Sysadmin dropdown or under Security & Permissions on the Sysadmin Menu

What does it look like?

The Audit Trail is a list of all actions in PoolCar, listed in chronological order.

The columns are:

  • Datestamp (date and time of the action)

  • Username (the username who performed the action)

  • Message (information about the action performed)

  • IPAddress (the IP Address of the user who performed the action)

  • SessionID (TBC)

  • User Agent (Desktop = user performed action on the desktop site; Mobile = user performed action on the mobile site; Python = action took place on the KeyMaster)

The Audit Trail is exportable to Excel.

Please note that there is a maximum limit of 4000 records or 18 months whatever comes first.

You can search for users, drivers, booking IDs, rego/licence plates or actions
