How do I edit/delete a booking?

You can only edit a booking that is in the status unapproved, approved, or checked-out.

A Booking Admin is able to change the booking end time when it has been checked-in, but this will not reflect against the actual booking time if changed after check-in.

You can only delete a booking that is in the status unapproved or approved. Once the booking has been checked-out, it can no longer be deleted. This is because a checked-out booking means the driver has left with the vehicle and the booking is in progress. A Smartrak Client Admin can delete a specific booking via the Smartrak Admin site.

  • Log into the Smartrak App site (NZ or AU)

  • If user level is View Only or Map User, navigate to the Pool Booking module

 

  • Locate your booking by clicking on My Bookings and selecting the booking that needs to be changed from the list

 

  • Click on the Booking ID number next to Edit Booking

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Right at the bottom is the Edit button (you can also manually check out from this page), Click on Edit

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Update the booking details or delete as required and click on Save

    • Please note, you can only change the booking end time of a booking that is in the status approved or checked-out, you cannot change the time of a booking when it has been checked-in

    • You can also delete the booking from this page if the booking hasn't been checked out yet
