KeyMaster Cabinet V3 UPS Replacement and power check
If your cabinet is experiencing power issues, the UPS and/or the power connection from cabinet to wall may have an issue. This guide will help instruct on replacing the UPS/back up battery.
Remove the power adaptor plug from the wall adaptor connector
Undo the terminal connectors; remembering that the red streak on the casing returns to the leftmost side
Undo the power terminator screw and detach the power terminator board from the UPS/12v battery
Remove the UPS bracket by undoing the 3 nuts (2 on top left, 1 bottom right)
Remove the UPS/12v battery and replace; these 12v batteries can be purchased from Jaycar in O’Connor
Reinsert the bracket and fasten
Reconnect the power terminator board to the UPS/12v Battery via the terminals on the right side
Reconnect power terminator screw and terminal connectors.
Another reason the power alert emails could be getting generated while the cabinet is powered, is that the Control module has been damaged and no longer recognizes there is power.
If the Strato (the outer board pictured above) appears to be damaged, the control module will need replacing as well. If in doubt, please take a photo of the Strato and attach it to the CSD ticket that has been lodged for the issue in the Smartrak Atlassian service portal. We will then engage with the hardware supplier to get replacement hardware sent to you.
