April 2018 Releases

Our developers have been busily working on feature requests from the user community.  We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a number of valuable feature improvements.

What is it?

How does this help you?

Remove 14 day time limit that a vehicle can be outside a geofence.

Now that geofence time limits have been removed, the “Trips Out of Geofence” report and other geofence-based reports are more accurate.  Reports are now based on actual time outside the geofence no matter how long the time period.

New function:  Search by vehicle registration in iOS app

You can now search by vehicle registration in the iOS app even if the registration number is not used in the vehicle name field.

Overspeed Severity Report now includes total kilometres driven.

You no longer have to run two separate reports to determine the overspeed period versus total kilometres driven.

EyeQ map site now include battery status of the Remora and Oyster non-powered asset tracking devices.

The ability to view the battery status on the EyeQ map site makes it easier for you to monitor the battery levels for TrakWise Remora and TrakWise Oyster devices.  This also gives users with limited Smartrak permissions the ability to quickly and easily see this information.

New Pool Booking feature:  Prevent users from choosing a date in the future for manual check-ins.

Users cannot check in a vehicle more than 15 minutes in the future.  This ensures vehicles are available for future bookings and reduces administration costs to manually correct the error.

Coming soon!

We are updating the icons on EyeQ map site.  This will make the map more user-friendly and cater for a better user experience.  Before we make any changes live, we will give you plenty of notice combined with a thorough description of our intended changes.
