April 2019 Releases

Our developers have been busily working on feature requests from the user community.  We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a number of valuable feature improvements.

What is it?

What's changed?

Example
Pool Booking SMS messages - Do Not ReplyPool Booking SMS messages are system generated messages and responses are not monitored. As a reminder to recipients of these messages, DO NOT REPLY has been added to the end of all Pool Booking SMS messages.

Service name editable under Fleet Servicing

Once a Service is created under Fleet Servicing the name can now be changed or updated if required.  This does not apply to Default Services

Rego added to Overnight Location Report

Pool Booking Approval

As part of the Pool Booking process some organisations require a booking to be approved by an Administrator before it is confirmed to the driver.  Previously the approval information wasn't available without requesting the information directly from Smartrak.  This information is now available at the end of the Booking Report under the Approved By and Approved On columns.

Searching for a Driver

It is often difficult to tell exactly where a driver is on the current view of the map.  To increase the visibility of your drivers the ability to search on a specific driver name has been added to the map functionality.

Emergency Alert cleared message time-zone

All messages received, via SMS or email, advising an Emergency Alert is cleared will reflect the time and time-zone abbreviation of the located configured against the device.  All devices with cleared emergency alerts messaging will reflect the new information.  There will be no effect on reporting, how emergency alerts are received or any other emergency alert messages.

Pool Booking Pickup LocationsPool Booking uses will now only see pickup locations that relate to the vehicles they have access to book and not all pickup locations available for their organisation.

Maintenance BookingTo distinguish, on the availability chart, when a vehicle is booked out for maintenance through the Fleet Servicing module, not a normal booking, it will be represented by a new Maintenance colour category on the bookings availability chart.
