Recall Register

From time to time, vehicle manufacturers send out recall notices to fix factory defects. The recall register helps you track those which recall notices have been received for which vehicles, and what action has been taken to ensure the defects are fixed by the factory.

  • When a recall notice arrives in the mail, simply fine the Recall Register under the Registers heading

    • Click the Add button in the Recall Register. This opens the form to start entering details about the recall notice

  • You can choose to undertake the actions required yourself as sysadmin, or delegate the actions required to the vehicle custodians

  • Each recall notice has a status which tracks the progress and an optional field to upload a scan of the recall letter

  • Once you or your staff have actioned the steps to rectify the fault as per the recall notice instructions, you record in the system details about who performed the remedial works and so on
