How do I add a new untracked (virtual) vehicle into Pool Booking?

Only a Booking Admin can do this and it is system settings dependent.

Have all your pool cars available to be booked through Smartrak booking.

Have all your pool cars available to be booked through Smartrak booking.

To create virtual vehicles (i.e. untracked) into pool booking system, so they can be manually checked-in and out.

  • Log into Map site (you may need to SUDO into your map account via the Smartrak Admin site to view additional system settings in Pool Booking)

  • Select Pool Booking Module

  • Navigate to Admin - System Settings

Firstly, you need to enable the system setting to allow user to create virtual units.

  • Navigate to Admin, then Add Plant

  • If you are unable to find an answer to your question in here please log a support request via the Smartrak Service Desk
