How do I manage User Accounts?

Managing User Accounts

  • Log into the Smartrak Admin site (NZ or AU)

  • Go to Manage > Users 

    • On this page you can perform the following user functions:

      • Create users

      • Delete users 

      • Edit users details

      • Add and remove functionality from users 

      • Reset users passwords 

  • In the right hand corner, you will see the three options for "Create", "Edit" (default) and "Delete"

The majority of functions exist under the edit tab, here you can:

  • Update

    • Username

    • Real name

    • Phone number

    • Email address

  • Change the user level (more detail on user permissions / profiles here: Creating and Managing User Accounts)

    • Booking View Only 

    • Current Mode Only 

    • Booking Only 

    • Servicing Only User 

    • Map User 

    • View Only

  • Disable user access (lock the user out without deleting them)

  • Add fleet management 

  • Add booking admin 

  • Add permission to create and view map tags 

  • Reset password
