Smartrak Insights - Enabling 'Availability' Feature on Geofence

In order to successfully use the Smartrak Insights “Out of Geofence” module, you need to update the geofences you wish to use for insights to enable the ‘Availability’ feature.

The feature name ‘Availability’ is used to indicate that a vehicle inside this geofence is available.

Reasoning: The 'Utilisation Insights' module relies on time spent outside of geofences to compute utilisation. To simplify navigation within the selection list, only the geofences marked as "Availability" will be displayed. Initially, no geofences will be accessible. To designate your preferred geofences for utilisation calculations, follow the steps below to apply the "Availability" label.

Please note that so long as you do not change the geofence name, history will remain with the geofence.

Login to Smartrak App

 

Locate Geofence (Menu > Geofences)

Click View

Click Edit

Click Edit Classes

Under Actions > Click Edit

Select Availbility feature

Click Edit Class to save
