Trips out of Geofence Report

The Trips out of Geofence Report lists each trip period on a given day that is at least partially outside the specified geofence.

For each period the following information is shown:

  • key on/off or trip start/end times

  • duration

  • trip distance

  • idle duration

  • average speed

  • start and end address details

  • actions - view on map for report viewed in browser

How to run a Trips Out of Geofence report

 

  • Log into the Smartrak App site (NZ or AU)

  • Navigate to Reports



  • Select Trips out of Geofence Report from the drop-down list 





 

  • Select the Date Range

 

  • Select which Region Geofence you want to report on from the drop-down

 

  • Chose Show daily totals row if required

 

  • Select the Selection Mode - reports can be configured to run on Individual Resources (select which vehicles to report on) or Groups of Resources 

 

  • Select Download Report (to download into Excel or as a csv) or View Report (to view on screen)

 

Important Note:

If a geofence is created while a tracked resource is inside the geofence area, the first trip the resource makes will include an ‘enter geofence’ event for that geofence and therefore will appear on this report. This should only happen once so long as the geofence isn’t changed.
