How to setup iButtons for Driver ID

Please note that this is the legacy ibutton process. The new driver-based reporting and identifications are managed via Manage > Identifications and Manage > People in Smartrak Admin

Assigning Ibutton to Driver
  1. Log into Smartrak Admin website (NZ) or (AU)
  2. Navigate to Manage > iButton > Select the Create tab


  4. Here, create a unique identifying iButton name (e.g. your Driver’s name)
  5. Then assign a unique iButton ID to the driver (the 16 character iButton serial number
       a. Please note that the serial number location for the iButton is shown in the central image at the top of  the page and includes the ‘C2’ and ‘02’. The serial number for the pictured iButton is C2 0000007B04E6 02.
       b. The format for entering this number is as below:
Optional - Add a contact phone number if desired.
   6. Click 'Create' to save the details
