Re-setting your Garmin

If your Garmin is having issues, it may simply need a quick hard reset. If problems continue then please contact Smartrak

Step-by-step guide

1. Make sure the Garmin is powered on
2. Press and hold the power button in the top left hand side of the Garmin
3. Once the Garmin is powered off, place your finger in the bottom right corner of the screen and hold (do not take it off)
4. While you are holding the screen in the bottom right use your other hand and press and hold the power button in. The Garmin will power on let the power button go
5. Once you see a message displaying "Clear data" release your finger on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
6. You will see two options "Yes or No" 
7. Simply press "Yes" and the Garmin will reset and wipe the data and power back on.
8. You will now need to select the country and set up the Garmin again.
9. Press "Dispatch mode" and the Garmin will now be ready to use again.
