How do I add a comment on my Service Desk request?


  • Click on 'Requests' and select 'Created by me' or 'All' depending on whether you are part of an organisation in Jira that links all of your users together under one organisation.



  • Under Requests you can select the request you want to comment on, by selecting the relevant CSD number



  • After you have selected the CSD ticket number you will see this Screen.  Type the comment in the box you wish to add to the ticket and select add. You can also add files too at this point too.



  • When one of the Support Team replies you will receive a notification via email similar to the one below



  • You can either reply above the line to the email which will send a comment to the ticket, or you can log in to the portal to view all comments and reply via the comment box
