Smartrak map events

Smartrak’s map provides visual indicators of where assets are located, and how they are being used.  The creation of Smartrak Identify has led to two new events been available on the map – Log On and Log Off.

Logon Reporting

Smartrak Identify is classified as a type of driver identification which ensure reporting is displayed by driver.

The Driver Logon Report shows all driver log on and log off events in the specified time period. This report is best used as a quick audit of log on/off events.

The Driver Logon Period Report shows the total length of time each driver is logged on to each vehicle during the specified time period. Log on periods which overlap the date range of the report are truncated and marked with an asterisk (*). This report is best used to determine who had a vehicle at a particular time, or time range (i.e. for infringements)

Driver-based Reporting

Driver ID allows you to identify which employee is driving a car in real time and know exactly how much time the driver spends on the road, on site or visiting a customer. In addition to this, Driver ID also provides a platform to provide feedback on driving behaviour. Driver Overspeed Period Report

Driver Overspeed reporting shows the individual periods where drivers were overspeeding and provides a granular level of detail on speeding occurrences to better support reporting on driving behaviour. One of its aims is to assist in speeding investigations and provide a clearer analysis. Features include:

  • Map Mode visualising where overspeed periods occurred.

  • Polled overspeed events every five seconds, for greater insight into the drivers speeding behaviour.

  • Detail Report to determine when, where and for how long the drivers were speeding.

Driver Overspeed Severity Report

Driver Overspeed Severity reporting shows the severity by which each person was speeding during the selected period.

Features include:

  • Report to determine when and for how long the drivers were speeding.

  • Summary identifying the Average, Median and Maximum offenders at a glance.

Driver Trip Report

Driver Trip Report is an extremely useful report that is used as a management tool for a wide variety of use cases. The report details information about journeys undertaken and summarises the relevant information by driver.

The report shows:

  • key on/off time

  • trip duration

  • distance

  • average speed

  • start and end address

  • idle duration

Driver Safety Score Widget on the Dashboard

The Driver Safety Score widget on the Dashboard is from Telematics data with Real Road Speed (RRS) enabled, and provides an objective insight into true driver safety. Driver scores can be viewed by both managers and drivers, allowing self-directed behavioural change, and performance management of overspeeding behaviour. These insights will help correct mistakes, improve compliance with driving policies, enhance driver safety and help to address driver fatigue. There are two indicators of driver score in this widget:

  • Safe Drivers: The percentage of safe drivers in the organisation for last 4 weeks. This shows the percentage of drivers who are at or above the minimum score that is deemed to be a safe driver (i.e., have a score ≥99, out of 100). Having a value of 72% means that 72% of active drivers are considered safe drivers, and the remaining 28% of drivers are taking excessive risks that are placing themselves, their passengers and the wider public in danger. The gauge chart has colour bands set at the following thresholds; green = 90% of drivers over  the safe driver threshold, yellow = 80-90% of drivers over the safe driver threshold, and red = less than 80% of drivers over the safe driver threshold.

  • Highest Risk Drivers: Lists the names of the 5 highest risk drivers in the organisation along with  their current Safety Score. This individual driver safety score is based on the same driver safety score algorithm that’s used in the organisation-wide safe driver metric.
