Daily Usage Report

• Log into the Smartrak Map site (NZ or AU)

• Navigate to Reports

• Select Daily Usage Report from the drop down menu

• Select required date range. This can be run for 'Today', 'Yesterday', 'Last Week', 'Last Month', 'This Year', or you can select your own custom date range using the 'Custom' button and selecting from the pop-up calendar

• Select the vehicle/s either individually or by Group

• You can view the report in the browser, select 'Download Report' to export an excel spreadsheet, or you can configure as a scheduled report to be emailed out to you on a regular basis

Reading the Daily Usage Report

The report will show the following fields with usage reported per day with totals at the bottom of the report:

• Resource Name

• Rego

• Distance Travelled

• Idle Duration

• First to Last Key Period

• Key on Duration

Scroll to the bottom of the browser, or open the Excel report and scroll right to the bottom of the report where the totals are located and here is the information:

Note for electric vehicles (EVs):

Idle time is not calculated for EVs. Idle reporting relies on engine idle state data, which is not available in the same way for electric vehicles. As a result, EVs will not display idle duration, idle events, or idle-related metrics in Smartrak reports.
