How to read the Vehicle Behaviour Report

  • Date - date of the overspeed or harsh driving event/s

  • Overspeed Event Count - quantity of overspeed events

  • Overspeed Duration - how long the vehicle was overspeeding for during each overspeed event

  • Overspeed Magnitude Max – the maximum km/hr above the posted speed limit the vehicle travelled across all speeding events on a given day.

  • Left G-force / Right G-force / Brake G-force / Acceleration G-force / Total G-force Count - quantity of events for each G-force

  • Left G-force / Right G-force / Brake G-force / Acceleration G-force Max - maximum G-force reading per day

  • The report can highlight a pattern of poor driver behaviour.

  • You can view that day for that driver by clicking on view on map

  • G-force events start recording at 0.6G. If events are closer to 1.0G or over, that is consider to be a high-force event.

  • A summary is provided at the bottom of the report.

  • High Impact & Rollover is for automatic alerting of g-force events over a magnitude of 3.0G (Significant force event) - please contact Smartrak via the Smartrak Service Desk to discuss enabling this for your organisation.
